We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, use it to train generalized AI or machine learning models, or use it for any purpose unrelated to providing you with the Kautilya service.

Google API Services — Limited Use

Kautilya's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, we:

• Only use Google user data to provide and improve user-facing features of Kautilya
• Do not transfer Google user data to any third party, except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law
• Do not use Google user data for serving advertisements
• Do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your affirmative agreement, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required by law

Platform-Specific Data Practices

When you connect third-party accounts to Kautilya, we access only the data necessary to provide the features you use. Below is a breakdown of data practices for each platform. In all cases, your data is never shared with third parties and is used exclusively to perform actions you direct within Kautilya.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you disconnect a third-party platform from Kautilya, we delete the OAuth tokens and platform-specific data associated with that connection within 30 days.

You may request deletion of your entire account and all associated data at any time by using the “Delete Account” option in your account settings or by contacting us at privacy@kautilya.app. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will delete all your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our security measures include encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, strict access controls, regular security assessments, and secure token storage. While no system is completely secure, we are committed to protecting your data using industry-standard practices.

• Disconnect any connected third-party platform at any time via Settings
• Revoke OAuth access directly from any connected platform's settings

Children's Privacy

Kautilya is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete that information promptly.

When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of Kautilya after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
