Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy

Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy, IAS (Retd.), is a distinguished civil servant, academic leader, and governance expert with more than three decades of experience in public administration, urban governance, infrastructure development, municipal reforms, agriculture policy, and public service delivery. He currently serves as Dean of Research & Management Studies, Adjunct Professor, and Centre Director at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad, where he leads the Centre for Environment, Urban Governance and Infrastructure Deployment (CEUG&ID). Throughout his illustrious career, he has held several senior leadership positions including Chairman of the Telangana State Public Service Commission, Principal Secretary (Agriculture), Secretary (Education), Commissioner of GHMC, Metropolitan Commissioner of HMDA, Managing Director of HMWSSB, Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, and District Collector in multiple districts. His expertise spans urban transformation, municipal governance, infrastructure planning, public policy implementation, water resources management, agricultural administration, institutional reforms, and government capacity building.
